Arber Xhekaj, Habs nation HERO

Arber Xhekaj

Arber Xhekaj has quickly become a fan favourite within the Montreal organization, even the NHL world as a whole.

Otherwise know as “WIFI” or “The Sheriff” brings a strong physical presence, and reminds some of the old timers of their hockey days.

Arber is not only out there to assert his dominance, even though he racked up 65 penalty minutes in 35 games, there’s nights he’s playing on the top defensive pair playing up to 19 minutes some nights, even earning a role on the power play with his 12 points, (5 Goals, 7 Assists)

His skills and his strength is a good mix, and is a rare commodity to come by in the NHL. Picking up 5 fighting majors before the half way mark of the season, against some other tough customers.

There’s a bright future for this kid, and I hope he’s a focal point for the Montreal Canadians D line for years to come.

I’m not here to talk about Arber’s story outside of hockey because that’s a whole other interesting deal in

itself.

I’ll provide a link below of his list of fights to show you why he’s called “The Sheriff”
