Should The UFC Go Back To Brazil?

The ufc went back to Brazil for the first time this weekend since before the pandemic.

Every fight included a Brazilian fighter, in which made it a very hostile crowd.

Throughout the prelims there wasn’t anything too crazy to talk about from the fans.

When the main card started, we were treated to some incredible fights, so we’re the hometown fans, but there wasn’t much respect from them.

Brandon Moreno vs Deiveson Figueiredo was the co-main and did not disappoint, Moreno got the job done, making the doctor stop the fight in between rounds 3-4, this left the fans furious, the hometown champs not leaving with the belt, but nor did he get finished.

Immediately after Moreno left the octagon, fans started heaving anything they could, mostly food and drink at the new champ, Brandon Moreno. luckily he came out unharmed.

To the main event. Glover Teixeira vs Jamahal Hill, AND NEW! Was yelled by Bruce Buffer, crowning Jamahal Hill the new LHW Champion. Hill broke down and showed truly how much this meant to him. Glover left it all out there, but took some serious damage doing so. Jamahal scored 50-44’s across the board, to win the belt.

Glover announced after the fight, that he will be retiring from the sport, as he believes he’s too tough for his own good, something I believe is 1000 percent true. Glover showed class and elegance leaving the octagon, with Jamahal Hill so the Brazilian home town crowd wouldn’t give Hill the same fate as Moreno, going backstage, Hill went backstage, untouched.
